Dropdownfields can be selected as datatypes. It is a list of entries, where one entry can be selected.
To use a dropdown field you have to create one in the backend. Go to Components --> Event Table Edit --> Manage Dropdowns. Klick on New there. Enter a name for the select list and by clicking on the symbol at the bottom you can add list items. With the pencil-symbol after every list point you can edit it, with the cross you can delete it. You can sort the list with drag & drop. With a click on Save you can save it.

Now you can choose the dropdownlist in the frontend when you add a new row or create a new table.
