Release Event Table Edit 2.1.1 Beta
Wednesday, 11 March 2009 19:42

So. Finally I had time to release a new version of Event Table Edit. This release won't meet all wishes, but it has lots of enhancements to the previous version.

First, there are two new features, that I developed quite a time ago for some clients and now I had time to integrate them into the normal component. The first one is, that now dropdown fields can be uses and the second - you can use Yes-No-Fields.

That means: Now you can specify dropdown points in the backend and then you can choose the dropdown field like a datatype in the frontend. In this Yes- No- Field you can set a Yes- or No- Symbol on a cell easily by clicking on it. (Difficult to explain - easily go to the demo table and try it.)

Furthermore there are some Bugfixes:

  • The pagebreak works when the upcounting first row is turned off
  • The ACL-functions works when more than one table is used
  • No more errors, when the printview is turned off
  • The calendar should now appear in the screen center
  • The above- and below-text should now be formatted correctly

What this release doesn't contain:

  • The problems with importing big or not utf-8 encoded CSV-Files aren't fixed
  • The component was tested in Mozilla Firefox and IE7. With other browsers problems may occure.

So I hope the new release helps someone and I'm looking forward to your feedback.!
