Release Event Table Edit 3.0.0 RC1

Today Event Table Edit 3.0.0 RC1 was released. The release contains several bugfixes, listed below. An update is easily possible by overwriting the files. Additionally the automatic Joomla-Update should work. Download is available here.

Release Event Table Edit 3.0.0 Beta 3

Finally, after a quite big delay. We managed to complete the Beta 3 version. Bugfixes found in the previous beta versions are included, and this version should be the first quite stable version (also it is still marked as beta, so be careful!).

Features:

  • IE7 compatible - Working with IE7 will not provide all comfort like in newer browsers, but it works
  • Added an update server - so easy updates throught the Joomla Backend are possible
  • Fixed the language files - Some problems occured with the german language file
  • Fixed problems with ACL-Management
  • Smaller Bugfixes

Release Event Table Edit 3.0.0 Beta 1

After lots of weeks of developement I'm proud to annonce the realease of Version 3.0.0. It's completely rewritten code and native Joomla 1.6 compatible. This release is meant as a Beta Release for Bugfixing, so it's really no version for productive sites!!!

  • Completely rewritten Code with native Joomla 1.6 support
  • Use the full power of J1.6 ACL control
  • Enhanced Backend
  • Enhanced way of changing the table structure
  • Enhanced Pagination. Additionally turn on and off Pagination
  • Choose if you want to display floats with . or ,
  • Set a maximum length of cell content
  • Choose if you want to display links in the same, or a new window
  • Use Metadata
  • Enhanced SEO
  • Additional Datatypes Link and Mail

The component is not testet in Internet Explorer 7, yet. So this will surely not work!
Please add found bugs to the bugtracker on Joomlacode. Beta 2 and hopefully a version with only very little bugs will be released in about 3 weeks. Download the component here.
